The 4 Tupps is a group of people working in an office. We all appreciate good home cooked meals and after years of observation, we decided to share our food with each other. Each of the 4 members is assigned a day - each day a different member brings 4 servings of food. Friday is usually a grab bag day. Stay tuned for great collaborative lunch ideas.

If this looks like a re-hash of something from earlier this month, that’s because it is but with some (questionable) improvements.  Today was couscous and red lentils with kale, onions, garlic. I added roasted tomatoes and roasted eggplant (with 7 spice).  All of it was mixed up and enjoyed by all.
Monday will be another day off - enjoy your Labor Day Weekend!!

SUMMER STEW!  That’s what I like to call this copycat lunch of Claire’s from yesterday.

Since staring at the wall of grains in Union Market at 7:30AM didn’t help me find freekeh, I decided to move along to freekeh’s hot cousin, fregula!

Fregula is a Sardinian pasta that’s toasted before it’s packaged.  I mixed it with red lentils, arugula, roasted tomatoes, carrots, shallots and green onion.  I also put a lot of spice into it like turmeric, paprika and 7 spice.  Yummm.

We also had a side of crunchy bread with olive oil.

Another early morning masterpiece!

We have merguez with mushrooms, tomatoes and coriander over roasted garlic couscous with a salad that kind of resembles fattouch (Persian cucumber, radish, clusterfuck of greens, etc.).  I have a lemon and 7 spice (or what’s left of it after I accidentally poured all over myself) at my desk to make the dressing with.
Let me know when you guys are hoooooongray.
